Privacy Policy

This is the Privacy Policy for the “Cash Advance App: Borrow Money” mobile app (the “App”). It outlines the app’s services and how it handles your information.

Disclosure

The app’s operator is not a lender or loan broker and does not make any decisions relating to creditworthiness or loan terms. The app functions as a tool that allows users to request loans from a network of third-party lenders.

This process requires the user to share their personal details via a web form that is encrypted and sent to lenders. It is lenders who have the sole responsibility for determining loan approval, the amount offered, interest rates, and all other lending terms.

The Information the App Collects

The app requires the user to share both personally identifiable information (PII) and non-personally identifiable information (NPII).

Information that can be tied directly to an individual is called PII, while NPII is information that cannot reveal the identity of an individual.

As well as the loan request form, PII might be collected if the user submits a technical support query regarding the app.

During the loan request process, users may be asked to provide their name, date of birth, address, email address, phone number, driver’s license number, SSN, citizenship status, income level, employment details, property ownership, and bank account details.

NPII is collected in the background when someone uses the app by use of web tracking tools and “cookies”. Information collected may include but is not limited to web browser software, IP, access time, language, referral page, and the pages visited within the app.

The app reserves the right to share non-PII with others for the purpose of web tracking and analysis.

A cookie is a small file sent by a website or app that the user’s web browser downloads and stores in the background. It allows the sender to recognize the user every time they visit the site or app but does not contain PII.

Third parties such as advertisers may recognize their own unique cookies for tracking purposes and collect NPII when someone uses the app. The app does not have access to this NPII, and the app does not share any PII or NPII it collects with these advertisers.

Users can disable and/or reject cookies via their mobile device settings or desktop web browser.

How the App Uses Personally Identifiable Information

PII collected by the app is necessary in order to provide the loan connection service. Data submitted by the user is securely sent to the lender partners to streamline the loan application process.

PII may also be used in disagreement resolution and technical maintenance. App operators promise not to use PII in such a way that exceeds what is sufficient to deliver and maintain the service.

Using the app and providing PII constitutes consent from the user for their PII to be shared with verified lender partners in line with the appropriate laws. As well as loan applications, users consent for their PII to be used for related advertising and marketing purposes.

Neither the app nor its operators have direct access to the PII submitted by users, as this is encrypted by the app before being sent to the lender partners.

By using the app users consent to lender partners corresponding with them in relation to the processing and administering the loan request, subsequent loan offers, and subsequent loan agreements. This consent waives users’ rights to file any claim related to such correspondence with the FTC or any other agency.

Sharing Personally Identifiable Information

Improving the loan service falls within the scope of delivering the loan service, and users, therefore, give their consent for PII to be used by lender partners for this purpose.

The app also has the right to share PII with other affiliates and assignees if it is deemed necessary in the maintenance and improvement of the app and service it provides.

The third parties have their own privacy policies describing the way they use and/or disclose personal information.

The app reserves the right to disclose PII to law enforcement or other government agencies as a response to a court order, subpoena, or similar investigative demand; as part of establishing or exercising its legal rights; to defend against legal claims, or if otherwise compelled by law.

PII may be also be shared if necessary, to investigate, prevent, or act in regard to illegal activity, suspected illegal activity, or other wrongdoing; and to otherwise protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of the app’s operator, staff, users, or others; or to enforce the Terms and Conditions or other agreements or policies.

Opt-Out

By using the app users are expressing the desire to opt-in to communications from the app and lender partners. Users may opt-out in writing if they receive any such communications. Opting out may disrupt the user’s ability to access the service and its features.

Links to Other Websites

The app functions by redirecting users to partner lender websites. It also reserves the right to link to lender partners and other third parties using standard web links.

All third-party pages are beyond the scope of this Privacy Policy and it is, therefore, the user’s responsibility to review any third party’s terms and privacy policy.

Changes

Information contained within the app, its features, policies, disclosures, disclaimers, and promotions, may be revised, modified, updated, and/or supplemented without prior warning at its sole and absolute discretion.

Children’s Privacy

You are not permitted to use this app if you are under the age of 18 or the age of majority in your jurisdiction. The app does not intentionally collect any information from anyone under the age of 18.

Security

SSL encryption technology and other security measures are employed to safeguard user data from unauthorized access, use, and/or disclosure.
